What can I say I guess my ... damn I can't remember what it is called, kicked in. What were we talking about? Why did I come in here again?
My old open rocker 30 sure didn't howl! It did however fly a very lightly built, original 3 channel Sig Kadet Senior. Didn't take long however to put a FA-50 on instead. That engine has been is a few planes, like the Robin Hood 25 and an RCM Trainer 20. Still have it and it still runs well. I have been tempted to put the better cam in but that would spoil its "poit-poit-poit" sound. Gotta love it!

here's a big thank's going out to Hobbsy and Captain Crunch, and Gary, as I said before there are a lot of nice people in RCU's Saito Club !!!!
and now it was a joint effort from Hoobsy and Captian that got me a 4th Saito that I had no expectancy or knowledge of until Dave PM'ed me and told me he was going to send me a rebuilt Saito 82. so now I have 4 Saitos,,
1) Saito 1.15, never started, bough it from Gary,
2) Saito 100, never stated,
3) Saito 100 Twin, low time, got from Dave in a trade,
4) Saito 82, rebuilt, got from Dave and Captain Crunch
I have planes for 1, 2, and 3, and they should fly next year, maybe I will buy the SIG's Mid Star 40 kit for the 82, that would be my first kit build.. http://www.sigplanes.com/SIG-Mid-Star-40-Kit_p_54.html
but don't forget I still have the K&B 100 and HP 61 Ri Gold Cup both NIB, and my OS 70SZ will be going in my old beat up GP ShoeString..
to add I found a NIB GP Shoe String for sale on RG Groups and it's close enough whereby I can drive to pick it up, but the guy wants $400 for it and he will not come down, crazy, he said it's worth it because it's a discontinued ARF, well with that thinking I DO have a discontinued Pacific Aromodels 82" span ARF GeeBee Y NIB that I paid $430 for so it must be worth $800 today, but I don't think so..
thank you Dave, Captain and Gary, you guys have been very nice to me

No problem Jim, glad to help out in your quest for desireable Saitos, even if one was a dog diaper!
FWIW, I believe the "Clappers mate" comment takes a different meaning when punctuated
As in "Goes like the clappers, mate" Rather that "Goes like the Clapper's mate".
Being an well known "illiterate" ; I am probably way off again.

How about an LT 25 powered by the little 30 and one powered by an OS LA 25? Both fly great. Cap, both of my 30's have the airbleed screw halfway across the air inlet hole, that seems to be about perfect. And contrary to what many have said, the little 30's will operate with a Cline regulator. Not so well with an IronBay unless idled at about 3,000 rpm.

Gents, my life is a little caved in right now, Geri collapsed yesterday, luckily I had walked into the room, and caught her hands just before her head hit the floor. An elevated enzyme in her blood indicates that she had a heart attack. She's awake and her face color has returned, more tests today and tomorrow. Life sure has it's ups and downs at times. Thank God for friends.

And best wishes from your overseas friends.Hey dave i've got a joke for you about why there's never been a race horse named "my face" ever, and i mean ever...imagine the commentary when the horses round the last bend to the main straight and you've backed big money on "my face"

Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers, her heart, (arteries) are clear they're thinking blood clot in a lung now, so this AM she's having a not often used lung exam. While scary they're saying that is a better scenario than a heart attack.
Pete, yesterday I shaved with a Norelco electric razor, by noon I, (my face) looked like a homeless guy. Thanks for the levity.

Hobbsy, Sure was pleased to hear that all is getting better so quickly. I know that it was a scary situation.
By the way, I always thought of the Iron Bay regulator as a direct replacement for the Cline. How are they different ?
